It’s the time of year that serves as the perfect reminder of what’s really important: family, friends, health, and doing the things we love to do. We call it the Case for Safety, the reasons why everyone needs to work so hard at staying safe.
Yes, all those things we do at work are what allow us to enjoy all the wonderful things that play such a big role in life as we know it today.
Some of those things might be necessary to someone’s immediate survival, but most of them probably aren’t. In the heat of battle, when a job seems critical to complete, it’s easy to loose sight of that.
So, thanks for doing your part “to keep the lights on” for the rest of us. It’s appreciated. But please don’t make the mistake of thinking doing that is more important than going home alive and well at the end of the day.
