Naquela \u00e9poca, eles eram novos, diferentes e realmente importantes.<\/span><\/p><p id=\"u79416-34\" class=\"normal1\"><span id=\"u79416-33\" class=\"Normal\">Neste dia em particular, nosso novo CEO para o cargo (mas dificilmente novo para a empresa) estava nos dando sua inaugura\u00e7\u00e3o sobre o rumo que a empresa estava tomando sob seu comando. Era apenas ele, um retroprojetor - e uma enorme pilha do que se chamava de \u201cretroprojetor\u201d, cobrindo todos os aspectos imagin\u00e1veis da estrat\u00e9gia de neg\u00f3cios. Eu estava grudado em meu assento, pendurado em cada uma dessas importantes sobrecargas.<\/span><\/p><p id=\"u79416-36\" class=\"normal1\"><span id=\"u79416-35\" class=\"Normal\">Uma grande pilha, de fato. Mas nem um \u00fanico sobre seguran\u00e7a.<\/span><\/p><p id=\"u79416-38\" class=\"normal1\"><span id=\"u79416-37\" class=\"Normal\">O que n\u00e3o passou despercebido por algu\u00e9m na sala, que levantou a m\u00e3o e observou astutamente: &quot;Voc\u00ea n\u00e3o disse nada sobre seguran\u00e7a.&quot; Eu gostaria de poder dizer que sou t\u00e3o astuto, mas n\u00e3o sou aquele cara. Houve uma pausa, seguida da r\u00e9plica do cara mais esperto da sala: \u201cSeguran\u00e7a \u00e9 algo que voc\u00ea n\u00e3o deveria ter que falar. \u00c9 apenas algo que voc\u00ea deve fazer, sem pensar. Para alguns perigos - quente, frio, outono, alto, inesperado - n\u00f3s instintivamente nos mantemos seguros.
