Eles fizeram a lideran\u00e7a parecer f\u00e1cil - e legal.<\/p><p>Compensamos nossa falta de talento natural para lideran\u00e7a estudando muito e tirando boas notas. No final das contas, isso levou \u00e0 formatura e ao in\u00edcio de uma boa carreira. Ent\u00e3o, um dia, algu\u00e9m percebeu o bom trabalho que est\u00e1vamos fazendo e decidiu nos tornar a l\u00edder: conseguimos nosso primeiro emprego em gest\u00e3o.<\/p><p>Agora era a nossa vez de ser o l\u00edder. Rapidamente descobrimos que ningu\u00e9m nos achava t\u00e3o legais e eles n\u00e3o necessariamente seguiram nossa lideran\u00e7a. Foi quando decidimos que o jogo era \u201cadministrar\u201d e realmente n\u00e3o t\u00ednhamos que liderar.<\/p><h4><strong>Gerenciando, Definido<br \/><br \/><\/strong><\/h4><p>O consultor Louis Allen definiu os quatro elementos da gest\u00e3o como planejamento, lideran\u00e7a, organiza\u00e7\u00e3o e controle. Todos eles s\u00e3o extremamente importantes para o objetivo de enviar as pessoas para casa em seguran\u00e7a no final do dia. Divida a lideran\u00e7a nos elementos componentes - a\u00e7\u00f5es como comunicar, tomar decis\u00f5es, ouvir, motivar - n\u00e3o parecia t\u00e3o dif\u00edcil.<\/p><p>Mas n\u00e3o foi assim que funcionou quando o fizemos. Anunciar\u00edamos uma decis\u00e3o importante para nossa equipe - comunicando-a explicando todos os motivos pelos quais fazia todo o sentido - e ela enfrentaria forte resist\u00eancia. Lembramos \u00e0s pessoas o que hav\u00edamos dito antes, e elas dizem que \u00e9 a primeira vez que ouvem. Ouv\u00edamos com paci\u00eancia, mas o que geralmente acab\u00e1vamos ouvindo eram reclama\u00e7\u00f5es e desculpas.<\/p><p>Ser o l\u00edder \u00e9 um dever dif\u00edcil.<\/p><h4><strong>Nossos l\u00edderes mais admirados<br \/><br \/><\/strong><\/h4><p>Pense sobre a pergunta: &quot;Quem s\u00e3o os l\u00edderes que conhecemos em nossa vida e mais admiramos?&quot; Examinamos as fileiras de treinadores, generais, funcion\u00e1rios eleitos e figuras p\u00fablicas; n\u00e3o \u00e9 dif\u00edcil fazer uma lista. Gra\u00e7as \u00e0 televis\u00e3o e aos filmes, h\u00e1 grandes chances de que os nomes na lista de n\u00f3s, baby boomers, sejam muito semelhantes.<\/p><p>\u00c9 impressionante o que nossos l\u00edderes mais admirados n\u00e3o t\u00eam em comum. Alguns eram oradores brilhantes, outros introvertidos. Alguns lideravam com autoridade formal e outros simplesmente pareciam ser capazes de \u201ccriar seguidores\u201d para suas ideias. Alguns eram caras dur\u00f5es de olhos de a\u00e7o - como o General Patton, e outros lideravam de forma muito passiva - como Gandhi.<\/p><p>O que nossos l\u00edderes mais admirados t\u00eam em comum \u00e9 uma lista muito curta: todos eles tinham algo importante que desejavam realizar; eles agiram de acordo com suas convic\u00e7\u00f5es; e suas a\u00e7\u00f5es produziram resultados. Mas como eles realizaram o que fizeram parecia depender apenas de suas qualidades pessoais e personalidades: Vince Lombardi e Tom Landry tiveram sucesso em campo, seguindo dois estilos de treinador totalmente diferentes.<\/p><p>Os l\u00edderes que admiramos n\u00e3o tiveram vida f\u00e1cil. Em algum momento ao longo do caminho, a maioria sofreu por aquilo em que acreditava: na pior das hip\u00f3teses, foram baleados ou colocados na pris\u00e3o. Ou, eles podem apenas ter sido torrados pela opini\u00e3o p\u00fablica e amea\u00e7ados de demiss\u00e3o.<\/p><p>Ser o l\u00edder \u00e9 realmente um dever dif\u00edcil!<\/p><p>Tudo isso ajuda a explicar por que a verdadeira lideran\u00e7a \u00e9 t\u00e3o rara. E por que \u00e9 muito mais confort\u00e1vel e seguro apenas gerenciar - planejar, organizar e controlar.<\/p><p>Quando se trata de desempenho de seguran\u00e7a, sempre h\u00e1 muito o que gerenciar. Realize as inspe\u00e7\u00f5es; manter o equipamento; fornecer o treinamento; completar as avalia\u00e7\u00f5es. Como gerentes, todos n\u00f3s conhec\u00edamos o exerc\u00edcio perfeitamente bem; a maioria de n\u00f3s era realmente boa nessas atividades de gerenciamento.<\/p><p>O problema com isso, como Ross Perot resumiu t\u00e3o bem, \u00e9 que \u201cvoc\u00ea gerencia estoques e lidera as pessoas\u201d.<\/p><h4><strong>Gerenciamento de lideran\u00e7a de demandas de desempenho de seguran\u00e7a<br \/><br \/><\/strong><\/h4><p>Sempre h\u00e1 impress\u00f5es digitais a serem encontradas nos motivos pelos quais as pessoas se machucam.
