Elmetto protettivo, occhiali di sicurezza, guanti\u2026..giubbotto riflettente: sono tutti esempi di DPI.\u00a0<\/p>

Dato che la prima di quelle P in DPI \u00e8 personale, rendiamo questo personale:<\/p>

  • Da cosa ti stanno proteggendo?<\/li>
  • Come ti proteggono?<\/li><\/ul>

    La risposta ovvia alla prima domanda: da cosa ti stanno proteggendo? \u2013 \u00e8 danno. In particolare, l'elmetto protettivo protegge la testa dai danni; gli occhiali proteggono i tuoi occhi dai danni; i guanti proteggono le mani dai danni.<\/p>

    Anche il modo in cui ciascuno di quei DPI \u2013 guanti, occhiali, elmetto protettivo \u2013 ti protegge dai danni \u00e8 ovvio: quando qualcosa sta per entrare in contatto con te, il DPI funge da ultima linea di difesa. S\u00ec, c'\u00e8 contatto, ma si spera meno danno - per te.<\/p>

    Perch\u00e9 "si spera"? Perch\u00e9 quell'ultima linea di difesa non \u00e8 sicura. Non c'\u00e8 alcuna garanzia che i tuoi DPI ti proteggano dai danni. D'altra parte, la scelta di non indossare i DPI garantisce una cosa: quando ne avrai bisogno, sar\u00e0 troppo tardi per indossarli.\u00a0<\/p>

    Poi c'\u00e8 il giubbotto catarifrangente: da cosa ti protegge il giubbotto? Come ti protegge?<\/p>

    Prenditi il tempo per pensare alle domande, apprezzerai che un giubbotto \u00e8 un tipo completamente diverso di equipaggiamento di protezione personale. Quel giubbotto ti rende pi\u00f9 visibile agli altri. Quando lo fa, \u00e8 meno probabile che qualche altra persona - e l'attrezzatura che potrebbe utilizzare - entri in contatto con te.\u00a0<\/p>

    Un giubbotto non riduce il danno; funziona per evitare che accada il danno!<\/p>

    In altre parole, un giubbotto "riduce il rischio".<\/p>
