See something, say something. Go anywhere with a great safety culture and that is exactly what you would expect to happen. For a supervisor leading and managing safety, intervening is just another part of the job. If that\u2019s you, it\u2019s also a practice you control.

But what about everyone else? At the front line\u00a0of operations, where work gets done, ensuring everyone is confident and comfortable when it comes time to intervene ensures that what needs saying is said.\u00a0

No better time and place to reinforce that than your next safety meeting. If you\u2019re looking for an idea to discuss with your followers, clearing the air on feedback is a great way to open the door to the things that might likely need saying.\u00a0

If you know there are unsafe practices that are being ignored, it\u2019s also a wonderful way to address them openly.\u00a0
