Les quatre \u00e9tapes d&#039;am\u00e9lioration continue de Deming offrent une fa\u00e7on int\u00e9ressante d&#039;examiner la pratique de la gestion. Le travail de la direction industrielle est d&#039;ex\u00e9cuter et d&#039;am\u00e9liorer ; qui fait de ces quatre \u00e9tapes un r\u00e9sum\u00e9 succinct de la fonction de gestion. Selon Peter Drucker, auteur de\u00a0<em>La pratique de la gestion\u00a0<\/em>il y a cinq fonctions : il a ajout\u00e9 \u00ab d\u00e9velopper les gens \u00bb \u00e0 ce qui \u00e9quivalait aux quatre de Deming.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Drucker s&#039;est peut-\u00eatre inspir\u00e9 d&#039;un mod\u00e8le d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 par un ing\u00e9nieur minier fran\u00e7ais renomm\u00e9, Henry Fayol, qui, un demi-si\u00e8cle plus t\u00f4t, avait identifi\u00e9 des fonctions de gestion similaires. Au moment de la v\u00e9rification, Fayol a utilis\u00e9 le mot fran\u00e7ais contr\u00f4leur, &quot;dans le sens o\u00f9 un responsable doit recevoir un retour d&#039;information sur un processus pour effectuer les ajustements n\u00e9cessaires et doit analyser les \u00e9carts&quot;.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Cela r\u00e9sume parfaitement l&#039;\u00e9tape de v\u00e9rification.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Tout cela nous rappelle que les meilleures id\u00e9es r\u00e9sistent \u00e0 l&#039;\u00e9preuve du temps. Deming, Drucker et Fayol ont identifi\u00e9 la collecte et l&#039;analyse d&#039;informations sur la performance comme une \u00e9tape critique du processus de gestion ; C&#039;est la base de la gestion et de l&#039;am\u00e9lioration des performances.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Certaines choses ne changent jamais.<\/p><p>R\u00e9duire les fonctions de gestion \u00e0 une poign\u00e9e d&#039;\u00e9tapes communes ne signifie pas que la pratique de ces \u00e9tapes par les superviseurs et les gestionnaires \u00e0 tous les diff\u00e9rents niveaux d&#039;une organisation industrielle se ressemblera, ou m\u00eame \u00e0 distance.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Consid\u00e9rez l&#039;\u00e9tape du plan, par exemple. La planification, lorsqu&#039;elle est effectu\u00e9e par un chef de premi\u00e8re ligne, traite g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement du travail de la journ\u00e9e \u00e0 effectuer par les membres d&#039;une \u00e9quipe. Mettez-vous simplement \u00e0 leur place.
