Leurs professeurs d&#039;anglais au lyc\u00e9e se moquaient de ce que leurs anciens \u00e9l\u00e8ves n&#039;avaient pas appris.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Cela mis \u00e0 part, les rapports d&#039;enqu\u00eate sont en fait int\u00e9ressants \u00e0 lire. Puis un g\u00e9nie est venu avec le terme \u00able\u00e7ons apprises\u00bb et maintenant cela fait partie du vocabulaire de la gestion.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Pourquoi donc?<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Une explication possible est que, tout comme les personnes, les organisations souffrent de troubles d&#039;apprentissage. Les enseignants enseignent; les \u00e9tudiants apprennent.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Peut-\u00eatre que le cr\u00e9ateur n&#039;a jamais appris cette diff\u00e9rence en premier lieu. Leur professeur de cinqui\u00e8me ann\u00e9e grincerait des dents: \u00abSi seulement je pouvais les faire apprendre.\u00bb<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Mais le professeur ne peut pas. Et parfois, les \u00e9tudiants ne le font pas. Il en fut toujours ainsi.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Lorsque de nouvelles informations importantes se trouvent dans un rapport d&#039;enqu\u00eate, c&#039;est l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement qui enseigne la le\u00e7on. Si vous voulez savoir si c&#039;est appris, demandez aux \u00e9l\u00e8ves.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Mieux encore, testez les \u00e9tudiants. Les causes des \u00e9checs peuvent \u00eatre d\u00e9cevantes, d\u00e9rangeantes, ind\u00e9sirables et frustrantes, mais elles sont rarement compl\u00e8tement impr\u00e9vues.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>En clair, les causes des \u00e9checs sont des \u00abprobl\u00e8mes\u00bb - pas des \u00able\u00e7ons\u00bb. Celui-ci est sur les leaders, pur et simple.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Comme tant d&#039;\u00e9checs que j&#039;ai lus, si l&#039;une de ces choses avait \u00e9t\u00e9 faite comme elle \u00e9tait cens\u00e9e le faire - en commen\u00e7ant par suivre les r\u00e8gles - le d\u00e9sastre ne se serait pas produit. Mais ils ne l&#039;\u00e9taient pas, et c&#039;est le cas.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Des causes comme celles-ci ne sont pas des le\u00e7ons: une \u00abinstruction\u00bb. Ce sont des probl\u00e8mes: des choses qui doivent \u00eatre corrig\u00e9es.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Alors, r\u00e9parez-les!<br \/>\u00a0<br \/><strong>Le principe du dialogue honn\u00eate<\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Personne n&#039;aime \u00e9chouer. Aucun leader que je connais n&#039;aime g\u00e9rer un \u00e9chec. C&#039;est ce qui nous motive \u00e0 faire la bonne chose et \u00e0 faire la bonne chose de la bonne mani\u00e8re. Mais, aussi importante que cette motivation soit pour les performances, elle ne ram\u00e8nera pas le taux d&#039;erreur \u00e0 z\u00e9ro.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Ce qui nous ram\u00e8ne \u00e0 notre point de d\u00e9part: rien n&#039;est parfait. Faire face aux probl\u00e8mes fait partie du travail de chaque leader.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Alors, comment g\u00e9rez-vous l&#039;\u00e9chec? Surtout un gros \u00e9chec, du type o\u00f9 les empreintes digitales de vos abonn\u00e9s sont partout?<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>C&#039;est maintenant une pratique courante pour les dirigeants \u00e0 la suite d&#039;un \u00e9chec de pointer du doigt la culture, le syst\u00e8me ou le processus. \u00abIl s\u2019agit d\u2019une d\u00e9faillance du syst\u00e8me de gestion.\u00bb \u00c0 l&#039;\u00e9poque, il \u00e9tait attribu\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00abEux\u00bb. Des individus qui se sont av\u00e9r\u00e9s \u00eatre des adeptes de ce leader. Cela a si bien fonctionn\u00e9 que tout le monde a pris le train en marche.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Tout le monde \u00e9tant la direction et le leadership.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Mon conseil \u00e0 vous: ne le faites pas. N&#039;utilisez pas le terme et ne pensez pas de cette fa\u00e7on.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Premi\u00e8rement, parce que l&#039;utilisation du terme \u00able\u00e7ons apprises\u00bb ne vous rapportera pas une note de passage en anglais.\u00a0<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Deuxi\u00e8mement, parce qu&#039;\u00e0 long terme, passer sous silence la v\u00e9rit\u00e9 sur l&#039;\u00e9chec permet d&#039;\u00e9viter plus facilement de traiter des probl\u00e8mes qui doivent \u00eatre r\u00e9solus. En mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9, ne pas r\u00e9parer ce qui doit \u00eatre r\u00e9par\u00e9 ne rend service \u00e0 personne.<br \/>\u00a0<br \/>Puisque vous savez tout cela, j&#039;ose dire que cette \u00e9dition des News n&#039;est pas une le\u00e7on.
