La fuerza de la explosi\u00f3n fue tan grande que el ancla del barco fue lanzada m\u00e1s de una milla a trav\u00e9s de la ciudad. 567 personas murieron, m\u00e1s de 5.000 resultaron heridas. Dado que usar agua para apagar el fuego habr\u00eda arruinado la carga, el capit\u00e1n del barco y el l\u00edder del estibador idearon una forma diferente de\u00a0<em>tratar<\/em>\u00a0para solucionar el problema: cierre las escotillas e inyecte vapor en la bodega para apagar el fuego.<\/p><p>Podr\u00eda haber parecido una buena idea, \u00a1pero su &quot;soluci\u00f3n&quot; convirti\u00f3 la nave en una bomba gigantesca!<\/p><\/div><div style=\"text-align: center;\">\u2026\u2026..<\/div><div>\u00a0<\/div><div><p>La pr\u00f3xima vez que tengas la tentaci\u00f3n de\u00a0<em>intenta algo<\/em>\u00a0para solucionar un problema, aplique la lecci\u00f3n del desastre de la ciudad de Texas: considere todas las consecuencias que su soluci\u00f3n podr\u00eda poner en marcha.
